New Delhi. Snap on Wednesday launched the Snapchat app’s paid subscription service in the US. Its price has been kept at $ 3.99 (about Rs 315) per month. Let us tell you that earlier this month, Snap announced the launch of the subscription version, Snapchat Plus. Currently, the paid service will be available in Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates.
Advertising budgets have been cut by companies due to rising costs and reduction in consumer costs, putting social media firms under pressure. Last month, Snap said it would not be able to meet its revenue and profit targets for the second quarter. Also the company will have to cut its expenses.

Snap product vice president Jacob Andreu told tech news site The Verge that initially the paid version will allow users to change the app icon. Apart from this, who has seen the user’s story again will also be able to know. Also, company paid subscription users will be able to pin on the chat history of other users.
