Washington. Police rescued a female swimmer trapped in a river in America. This incident happened last week. According to the information, the woman had called the police using Apple Watch. After this the police responded to this call and immediately came into action.
According to the information, the incident happened when the swimmer’s leg got stuck in the rocks on the Columbia River located in The Dales city of Oregon. She was stuck in the river for 30 minutes and when the police reached there, the woman was showing symptoms of hypothermia.
The officer descended into the water to save the swimmer
To rescue the woman, the fire officials first gave her a ladder and tried to move the rocks in which she was trapped. When his attempt failed, a police officer decided to descend into the river to rescue him.

Advice to swimmers not to go into rivers
The Dales City Police Department said in a Facebook post that officers at the scene assessed the scene and decided that the swimmer would have to get into the water to save him immediately. After this the officers landed in the water and managed to rescue the woman swimmer and bring her to the shore. After the incident, police in the city of Dales advised swimmers not to go into the river alone. He said that the local waterways are cold and the flow of water in the rivers is fast.
