New Delhi. WhatsApp is bringing new features one after the other for its users. In this sequence, the social messaging site has brought another powerful feature. With the help of this feature, users will be able to hide their profile photo, last seen status and about from anyone present in their contact list.

Although this feature was already available in the beta version for some time now. WhatsApp has announced that it is now rolling it out to all iOS and Android users. Till now, users used to see three privacy options Everyone, My Contacts and Nobody in the settings.

My contacts except option
With the arrival of this feature, they will now see an additional option named except My contacts. By clicking on this option, users will have to select the specific contacts from whom they want to hide their details. It is worth noting that if a user chooses to hide his last seen from contacts, then you will not be able to see his last seen status too. This option can be accessed from the Privacy section in Account Settings.

how to hide profile photo etc from specific person on whatsapp
To hide your profile picture, last seen and about details from a particular person, all you have to do is open WhatsApp and go to Settings. After that click on Account. After that you have to go to Privacy. After this, here you can choose from which people from your contact list you want to hide your details.

New feature for group calls
Earlier, WhatsApp had brought a new feature for group calling, with the help of which you can mute any person included in the group chat. However, the feature to mute someone on a call will be beneficial in case a person forgets to mute himself during a voice call. However, the participant can unmute himself at any time by pressing the unmute button.
