Bangalore. Jio Platforms Limited, the digital services arm of Reliance Industries Limited, and Indian file storage and sharing platform ‘Digibox’ have partnered to develop new storage solutions. With this, the needs of the cloud storage service of the existing and future users of Jio will be met. Apart from the recently introduced 20 GB of storage space with this partnership, users will get 10 GB of additional space on Digibox on signing up through Jio Photos app. Registered users can create their own folders here, upload photos to it, share photos and videos from their smartphone instantly and save different formats of files at one place.
Jio users can now store their personal data in it by turning on auto sync. Along with this, everything kept in it can be easily seen on the Jio set-top box.
Content can be accessed on Jio Cloud
Jio set-top box users can link their Digibox account with the Jio Photos app, which is preloaded on every Jio set-top box. With this, he can upload and access his personal photos and videos. On Jio set-top box, users can access content on different cloud storages such as Google Photos, Jio Cloud.
Along with this, he can also store the content shared on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram on the Jio set-top box. All this content gets collected in a systematic manner at the same place or at the same location. There is also facial recognition to group some photos and videos. When the user adds the Jio Photos app to his Digibox account, all the photos and videos in the Digibox are listed and organized into tabs, which are easy to view and access.
