ALERT! Danger on Google Chrome; Update your browser immediately, easy way

Google Chrome Alert: Fraud is increasing continuously in the Internet world, and now information about another new threat has come to the fore. The Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In), an agency under the Government of India, has issued an alert regarding Google Chrome. CERT-In has said in the advisory release to immediately update the existing Google Chrome in laptop or desktop. Google Chrome has launched its new version 103.0.5060.53 two days ago. Apart from removing the old security flaws in this version, many new features have also been given.

Let us tell you that CERT-In is an organization under the Ministry of Electronics, which looks after the matters related to cyber security. CERT-In reported that 9 types of security flaws have been identified in the old version of Google Chrome and a hacker can use any of these to target your system.

CERT-In says that there were some security flaws in Google Chrome due to which users can become victims of cyber attacks. To avoid this, they should immediately download the new version of Chrome.

If you also use the old version of Chrome, then you can download or update the new version of Google Chrome in this way-
Step 1- Open Google Chrome on computer or laptop.

Step 2- After this, now you will see three dots at the top right, clicking on which you will open a new menu.

Step 3- Now click on ‘Settings’ and then select ‘About Chrome’.

Step 4- After this you will see the current version of your browser and the latest version will be installed automatically.

Step 5- After the installation process is complete, a button named ‘Relaunch’ will appear on your screen, which you have to click.

Step 6- On clicking this, the Google Chrome browser will close and open again and thus the update process will be completed.
